Bio
Connor Fox, a remarkable 23-year-old guitarist, seamlessly blends fiery prowess with mature musicality, influenced by legends like Stevie Ray Vaughan and Jerry Garcia. Since 2019, he has been the lead guitarist for The Hypochondriacs, gracing stages from Fredericton's Harvest Music Festival to Austin's SXSW. While contributing to The Hypochondriacs, Connor unveiled his solo debut, "Music Room," a 10-song journey showcasing diverse influences. Beyond instrumental mastery, he surprises with compelling vocals. In 2024, Connor aspires to broaden his artistic footprint, prioritizing live performances at vibrant festivals. His musical journey, from early guitar days to solo success, embodies talent and dedication.
Residency Project
Project - 3 chords and a song - a four week block where Connor shows the students 3 basic chords that is the foundation to songwriting. Through demonstrating his own creative process, the artist will lay out a framework for writing a song and then divide the bigger group into small teams to write a song within that framework, with the three chords taught. A showcase will be presented in a songwriters circle format, for the whole school.
