Residency Project

In the classroom, I propose an exciting project titled "Exploring Harmony: Brushing Words and Colors." In this residency, students will embark on a journey to discover the rich history and artistic potential of Arabic calligraphy and painting. Through hands-on workshops, they will learn the fundamentals of Arabic calligraphy, understanding its historical significance and cultural relevance.

Subsequently, students will integrate their calligraphy skills with painting techniques to create unique artworks that blend the elegance of Arabic script with contemporary visual storytelling. Themes can vary, from personal reflections to exploring universal messages of peace and unity.

The project will culminate in a gallery exhibition where students' artworks will be showcased, allowing them to share their creative interpretations and cultural appreciation with the wider community. "Exploring Harmony" aims to not only foster artistic skills but also promote cross-cultural understanding and appreciation.

Teaching Experience

Yes, I have experience hosting workshops at the library.
