Bio

I am an Animation Industry Professional with years of experience teaching Animation at NBCC Miramichi, and I am currently the Creative Director and co-owner of Make My Own Movies Productions Inc.

I started my career in Animation at Walt Disney Animation Studios, working in the Character Animation Department. I've had an exciting career working on Television Productions. I have a real passion for art and have painted several Murals in the Pediatrics department for Horizon Health to inspire children.

I look forward to continuing to encourage and inspire creativity in the new generation of artists.

Residency Project

Our projects will cover a unique assortment of activities ranging from Character Design, Story Boarding, Hand-drawn Classical Animation, and fun interactive Acting for Animation activities.

Students will be given an opportunity to unleash their creativity and explore new ways to open up and learn to work together as a team.

Teaching Experience

In addition to my teaching experience with NBCC Miramichi, I've enjoyed creating many Animation Summer Camps for kids with all kinds of fun activities. Some of these camps were in Pabineau First Nations and the Miramichi Youth Centre.

I've worked closely with First Nations Elders to help launch NFB animated films for children to help preserve oral traditions that were endanger of becoming lost. This was as meaningful to me personally as fulfilling my childhood dream to work for Disney.

I fell in love with teaching and sharing my love of Art and the Art of Animation. I've been blessed to see many of my students fulfill their dreams of working on blockbuster films and opening their own studios.
