Growing up in Topsail, Newfoundland near the Atlantic Ocean, Karen Stentaford’s love of the environment has influenced recent work. Following degrees at NSCAD and Edinburgh University, Karen is currently photography technician and lecturer at Mount Allison University. She has had extensive solo and group exhibitions and received numerous awards and grants.
