Natasha Sacobie is a Wolastoqiyik visual artist based in Bilijk whose practice blends traditional and contemporary art forms. Beginning with oil painting and beadwork, she now specializes in porcupine quillwork, creating works that reflect her connection to nature, themes of exoticism, and respect for all living beings.   


A graduate of the New Brunswick College of Craft and Design’s Advanced Studio Practice program (2023), her work has been exhibited nationally and internationally, including at the Beaverbrook Art Gallery, Boston Museum, Art Mur (Montreal), and the Biennale of Contemporary Indigenous Art (BACA).   


Supported by numerous arts grants, Sacobie also shares her knowledge through public presentations and community engagement. In 2023, she received the Heather Stone Emerging Artist Award.
