Roméo Savoie (b.1928 - d.2023), Acadian artist and recipient of many honours including the Strathbutler and Miller Brittain awards and Prix Éloizes, has had many solo and national exhibitions, including a retrospective at the Beaverbrook Art Gallery in 2006. A published poet, Savoie is celebrated for explorations in subject, media and technique.
