t/h/reading glaciers II - Svalbard

by: Julie Forgues

t/h/reading glaciers II – Svalbard moves beyond superficial notions that reduce this territory to a mystical or mythical vision. How can we grasp these realities and their impacts without having physically set foot “up North”? Through a series of actions and interventions embedded within the image itself, it highlights a shared reality: that of a territory profoundly affected by climate change, which is itself linked to decisions and actions taken in the “South.” t/h/reading glaciers II – Svalbard therefore makes our invisible connections to the Arctic tangible
