After earning bachelor’s and master’s degrees in the visual arts from NSCAD University and the University of Western Ontario respectively, John Cushnie has taught painting and drawing at Mount Allison, Western, and Ontario College of Art universities. He was featured in the Beaverbrook Art Gallery’s Studio Watch Emerging Artist Series and has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions.
