A graduate of the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design, as an artist Lucille Robichaud has been influenced by the Arte Povera movement, using ordinary materials to counteract the commercialization of art, including using representations of skin in her art. She works in photography, multimedia, installation, painting, and sculpture.
