Primarily a mixed media artist, Carol Collicutt has practiced in Fredericton for over 35 years. Her work typically deals with memory and identity, and is autobiographical in nature. She has been very involved as an advocate for contemporary art in New Brunswick, first as president of the former Gallery Connexion, and most recently as Chair of the New Brunswick Arts Board. She is the recipient of many awards, and her work is included in many private and public collections in Canada, the United States and abroad. She wishes to acknowledge the support of artsnb throughout her career.
